YUMMY GREEN TEA…

Do you love Green Tea? Maybe if not…read on if you care about having great skin…

Recently, I’ve started exploring about Matcha Green Tea. Love drinking it, but what about having it on your face as a mask?

I am talking about the powder and not the crushed tea leaves. I went to Youtube to find the DIY Green face mask,  excitedly went out to pick up the ingredients, and made my own mask.

My green tea matcha face mask included honey. And boy..when I started applying it on, this rich earthy, sweet aroma that arose made me hungry, I immediately thought of all the matcha snacks and was tempted to lick the side of my lips.

After 15 mins and washing my face, I was surprised…. MY SKIN WAS GLOWING and SOFT!!!!

RICH IN ANTIOXIDANTS FOR GREAT SKIN

Green tea matcha has a number of potential benefits for the skin due to its high concentration of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds.

So... why do antioxidants even matter?

If you’re looking for anti-aging and want to protect and repair your skin from damage caused by free radicals (sounds like a cool name but sucks for your skin lol), lifestyle, environmental factors, and stress. Antioxidants are going to be your best friend.

Here are some of the top benefits of green tea matcha for the skin:

Powerful Anti-aging:

Contains antioxidants called catechins, which can help protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals, such as UV rays, pollution, and stress. These antioxidants can also help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improve skin elasticity. (Anything to help delay the signs of aging)

Calming & Anti-inflammatory:

Contains polyphenols, which have anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe and calm irritated skin. This makes it a great ingredient for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin. (Good riddance to red beet skin…)

Boost Hydration:

Can help improve the skin's moisture retention, which can help keep it hydrated and healthy-looking. (Keep that hydrating for supple perky skin..)

Glow & Brightening Effect:

Contains caffeine, which can help stimulate circulation and reduce puffiness. This can give the skin a brighter, more radiant appearance. (Get that glow to not look haggard..)

Fighting bacteria: (Acne healing):

Contains catechins, which have antibacterial properties that can help fight the bacteria that contribute to acne- helping to prevent new breakouts from forming and reduce the severity of existing ones. (Sayonara Acne…)

Overall, green tea matcha can be a beneficial ingredient in skincare products for those looking to improve the health and appearance of their skin.
